Capture your kids Master Class

Touch on equipment needed, how to use your DSLR, editing and watch me conduct a session then practice capturing the models yourselves.

 
 

Do you want to learn it all? Become more familiar with your camera and its settings. Learn some tricks for capturing some great images of your kids and then learn some basic editing techniques?

This 6 hour fun and interactive workshop covers: Camera basics, capturing your kids at play and editing your images.

We will touch on all of the below:


CAMERA BASICS
Semi Auto settings:-
Colour balance,
Aperture
Shutter speed
and ISO Settings.

CAPTURING YOUR KIDS AT PLAY
Watch me conduct a children’s mini session and then have a turn at capturing the models.


COMPOSITION AND LIGHTING
Learn about different types of light and what settings to use, as well as where to place your subject in your viewfinder for an aesthetically pleasing image

EDITING Demonstration
Basic adjustments; colour balance, exposure straightening and cropping
How to removed unwanted objects
How to get your images more like you want them to look with advanced editing demonstration

NOTES: - Participants must bring along a DSLR camera.
- Dinner will be provided
- Sessions will be conducted in small groups
- Students will have access to a private group for 6
months following the course to ask as many
questions as they like.
